Commandos: Origins Revives Classic Stealth Tactics

Claymore Game Studios and Kalypso Media have released Commandos: Origins on April 9, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows. Serving as a prequel to the 1998 title Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, this real-time tactics game allows players to control an elite squad of six specialists, each with unique abilities, to execute stealth-based missions during World War II. The game features large, intricate maps with multiple entry points, encouraging strategic planning and synchronized team actions. Commandos: Origins also offers a two-player cooperative multiplayer mode, bringing modern visuals and gameplay enhancements to the classic franchise.
